Root Holden (they/them)
Spiritual Companion
Sex Educator
Interreligious Celebrant
I am an eco-spiritual pagan practitioner and celebrant. I’m currently training to become a Spiritual Companion through a Master of Divinity program at the United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities.
To support my work as a Spiritual Companion, I am also a Student of Somatic Experiencing®.
I have trained and practiced in a wide variety of pagan traditions, including the Reclaiming Tradition of ecofeminist witchcraft, the Bardic Grade of the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids, and the Sisterhood of Avalon.
I love to create and facilitate ritual, both seasonal celebrations as well as rites of passage, such as hand fasting, naming ceremonies, and death rituals to support the dying in making their final connections.
As part of my training, I will be taking on spiritual companionship clients, both in-person and online, for one-on-one and group companionship.
Where can you find Root?
Great question! I’m currently working on a physical location through Pleasure and Belonging, but in the meantime, I’ll be at pop-ups and available online for spiritual companionship and readings.
